Our Story
Rooted in Lahaina. Dedicated to elevating island homes across Maui.
More than a showroom — your Maui design partner.
Da Big Kahuna Design Center was founded on a passion for beautiful, functional design tailored to the unique lifestyle of Maui. We know island living demands materials that are not only gorgeous, but durable enough to handle Hawaii's tropical climate — humidity, salt air, and all.
Conveniently located in Lahaina, our showroom is built for collaboration. Whether you're a homeowner, architect, interior designer, or contractor, our team delivers the expertise and curated product selection — flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and window coverings — to bring your vision to life on time and within budget.
Why Choose Us
Curated Quality
We carry only brands and materials that meet our high standards for quality, durability, and beauty — so every product we recommend is one we'd put in our own home.
Expert Guidance
Think of us as your personal design team. We listen first, then walk you through every option until we find exactly the right fit for your Maui home, your style, and your budget.
Local Commitment
We are a Lahaina business through and through. In the wake of the 2023 wildfires, we are proud to support the rebuilding of our community — offering our full expertise, product access, and genuine care to every homeowner restoring their Maui home.
